Whether a regular or first-time caller, the people contacting our NAMI OC WarmLine want comfort and hope, if not absolute clarity about a health crisis that offers little on that front. That soothing voice “and the simple power of listening” has been NAMI OC WarmLine’s mission since 2010. - The OC Register, April 10, 2020

NAMI Orange County Reaffirms Commitment to the WarmLine and Invites Community Support

NAMI Orange County remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining the WarmLine, a vital resource that continues to meet a critical mental health need for residents across our region. As a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by mental illness and their families, we provide education, support, and advocacy that empower people to seek help, find hope, and experience healing.

In collaboration with our valued community partners, the WarmLine will continue operating beyond July 1st. Under a revised service plan, new hours of operation will be from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, seven days a week. This adjustment reflects our commitment to sustaining this essential service while adapting to evolving community needs and current resource constraints.

To ensure the long-term sustainability of the WarmLine, we are actively seeking additional community support. Your contribution—whether as a donor, advocate, or partner—will directly help preserve and strengthen this lifeline for thousands of individuals who rely on it each day for non-crisis emotional support and connection.

We are deeply grateful for the ongoing generosity of our community and invite you to join us in reinforcing Orange County’s behavioral health safety net. Together, we can ensure that no one has to struggle alone.
