Pro bono legal services to low-income persons and seniors.
Legal Aid provides a service called Health Consumer Action Center.
They provide information about health care option and rights, advice on how to pursue appeals and grievances and individual representation at state administrative hearings. Information and assistance includes the following health programs: Medi-Cal, CALOptima, Healthy Families, County Medical Services for Indigents (MSI) and Mental Health Care.
